It was a great night for soccer. It was wonderful to see friends we haven't seen over the summer, to visit with the other moms, to enjoy the gorgeous weather.
It was fun to get out and watch the kids work while I sat comfortably in my chair. It even rained hard for several minutes, chasing me into my car but not dampening the kids' spirits one bit.
It was a GREAT night! And yes, I know I've already said that, but it's worth repeating again and again!

Football is supposed to be played in the rain, isn't it? I thought that was in the FIFA rule book. {g}
YEA! Fall sports are in full swing around here as well.
